Okay, I’ll ‘fess up: I’m in Virginia, central Mid-Atlantic. But that’s not so far away, right? Since I do all the work to maintain the Author Visits By State website, I figured I could “cheat” a little bit and add my name to other states.

Whether it’s performing with students in a reader’s theater piece, (left), revealing the mysterious contents of my “author’s tool bag,” (center), or sharing stuffed pets with kindergartners... faces just seem to happen.
